The British Amateur Boxing Association has launched a mobile phone recycling service that will help bring additional revenue to the sport.
This service will therefore play its part in helping to divert the thousands of tons of waste sent to landfill sites each year.
Steve Sutherland, BABA Commercial Consultant
In partnership with the Eazyfone Group this innovative new environmentally friendly service will enable you to make money from your old mobile phones.
After checking the value of your old and unwanted phone, you can simply post them off in exchange for a fixed fee.
As part of the service, Eazyfone, the environmentally conscious company, will also give you the opportunity to donate all or part of the sum you receive to the British Amateur Boxing Association.
Steve Sutherland, BABA Commercial Consultant said: "Eazyfone's online mobile telephone recycling facility provides a sustainable environmental solution by recovering old mobile phones for re-use, and recycling those that cannot be used again.
"This service will therefore play its part in helping to divert the thousands of tons of waste sent to landfill sites each year."
He added: "Anyone who recycles old phones via this site will not only reduce the impact a mobile phone has on the environment, but they will also see if those old phones cluttering up drawers and cupboards are worth some money - for themselves obviously but also for the British Amateur Boxing Association."
The recycling service is completely free and enables mobiles to be recycled swiftly and securely, with payment for old phones issued by cheque from Eazyfone within seven days of the item being received by the company.
