Male and female athletes from the GB Boxing squad played a starring role in the celebrations to mark ‘one year to go’ until the start of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.

The highlight was a two-hour, outside broadcast live from GB Boxing’s athlete accommodation in Sheffield as part of BBC Radio 5 Live’s ‘London Calling’ Programme.

The Chinese national women's squad came over to Sheffield for a joint training camp. Here are some images of some of the girls sparring towards the end of the camp.

 Russia, February/March 2011

The GB podium squad travelled to Russia to train at altitude with the Russian national team.

GB Boxing and the Home Nations of Scotland, England and Wales went head to head in a new competition to identify the best male and female amateur boxers in Great Britain at the Echo Arena Liverpool on 12 and 13 November 2010.

GB, Kazakhstan, France and China went head to head at the EIS in Sheffield on 7th and 8th August 2010

The women's team travelled to Crete in June 2010 for a training camp and mini tournament.
